Layered Cranberry Mousse


I finally found the cranberry recipe. I plan on trying it again.

Layered Cranberry Mousse

1.5 cups boiling water

1 pkg (8 serving size) cranberry jello, or any red flavor

1 can whole cranberry sauce

1 cup cold water

t cinnamon

1/8 t ground cloves

2 cups thawed Cool Whip

Stir boiling water into dry jello for at least 2 min. Add cranberry sauce; sit until mixed. Stir in cold water. Pour 2 cups of jello mixture into a 6 cup mold. Refrig 45 min or until set, but not firm. Jello should stick to your finger.

Meanwhile, stir cinnamon and cloves into remaining jello. Refrig 30 min. Add whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Pour over jelllo mixture in mold. Refrig 4 hours.
