This is an easy knot to tie a throw line to a Weaver Throw Weight, or anytime you want to tie a line to a ring. Adding a stopper knot at the end will make it more secure.

1. With the ring in front of you, drop the working end down through the ring so that the working end is on TOP (outside) of the ring and headed down INTO the ring.

2. Bring the working end up and around the ring, so you have two loops, with the working end still headed down INTO the ring.

3. Make these two loops with some slack in the bottom of them because you will need to run the working end OVER the outside of the loops (from your left to your right) and then THROUGH the middle of the two loops (from your right to your left).

4. Do this again, but this time make this second through the initial loops go on TOP of the first loop you just put through the middle of the initial loops.

5. The working end should end up on your left.

6. Leave enough space to add an overhand stopper knot at the end of the working end if you need the extra security.
