The Texas Rose Rustlers is an organization dedicated to the preservation and study of old garden roses in Texas. Each spring and fall there is a meeting somewhere in the state where old garden roses are displayed and cuttings can be exchanged. There are usually three or four lecturers at the meets and a good time is had by all.
The newsletter is called The Old Texas Rose. It is published several times per year and contains much useful information on OGRs. Dues are $7.00 per year.
The Texas Rose Rustlers also have a web page with information on meetings and how to join. It is certainly worth a visit to anyone interested in these wonderful roses.
