I never cared for the taste of regular tomato juice. Don't get me wrong, I love the taste of tomatoes. But store bought tomato juice left me cold. I could never understand why people drank the stuff, or why the "Bloody Mary" is such a popular drink. And I still don't.
But I have found a tomato juice I like. One I like a lot. It is Spicy Hot V8. I'm not sure what it is. I guess all the spices cover up the tomato juice taste. At the very least, that taste is transformed into something good.
Fifty calories per serving, the label says. And a great way to take the edge off your appetite. I keep a 46 ounce jug in the frig at home and six-packs of the small cans at work. I still don't like tomato juice, but, when it come to Spicy Hot, I really would rather have a V8.
