This is heaven for anyone interested in antique roses. The number of different varieties available is tremendous. The really great thing about this nursery is that they have planted lots of the roses they sell. That means you can see them in the size they will eventually get in your garden. That is very important with old garden roses, because they are sometimes very large. Do not pass up a chance to visit this wonderful nursery.

This is a great nursery for all kinds of plants and gadgets for your garden. Arbor Gate has wonderful talks on all subjects, and often features speakers from the Houston Rose Society. They have a nice rose selection. Plan to spend some time going through their extensive nursery.

This nursery, located on the far north side of Houston, is gigantic. They have a good selection of hybrid tea roses, miniatures and old garden roses. Worth the trip.
